STYLE No make-up for this straight guy. Spencer is the type of guy who will not really care what he wears one day - meaning jeans and a t-shirt and the next day he'll want to wear something a little more "fashionable." It all varies day-to-day, though usually he does always make a statement to make sure he looks at least decent when he must go out in public, after all, who knows when he may get hungry and need to lure someone close to him to have a - ahem - a snack after a party. Spencer will wear about anything sometimes he can get his hands on, though most of the time it depends on the type of mood he woke up in.

OVERALL
Don't mess with him. There. Simple, short and sweet, right? Well, besides that, Spencer has the whole "I'm the bad guy" thing going on half the time, while the other half of the time he's just kind of chilling there, letting life slip on by, since he sometimes doesn't have anything better to do. His mind is constantly working and he'll always find something to do, which usually leads to him meeting new people and making new friends, some of which upon meeting someone he'll label them as food or not food sometimes, depending on how hungry he is. But he works at a hospital, where people die every day, he never really worries about hunger. So when he isn't thinking about his stomach, Spencer worries about keeping up appearances, and has been for the past few years, since life gets hard when he needs to start over a new life, with all the forged documents and such - it's quite annoying.

Spencer though is a fast-learner and once he labels you as a friend, he'll be the type who will kill - literally to protect anyone who is his friend. He's lost pretty much his entire family, except for some distant relatives, so Spencer knows how it feels to lose people close to you. Spencer though with this, as built up walls and has the whole I don't want anyone too close thing going on. Once someone does manage to get past the outer rims of his personality, he's quite friendly and a jokester. Even though Spencer is friendly - mostly - to begin with, he becomes much more open once someone gains his trust, sometimes that can just take a few, depending on who you are to him. His mood though can vary day to day a lot, though most of the time he'd pretty laid-back and likes to just take life as it comes to him.

OVERALL
Spencer suffers from amnesia. He doesn't remember much of his life before he was bitten by his own father when he was this age, about 23 or so years old. After he was bitten, that's all he knows. Spencer wasn't named this when he was bitten either, with it being around 1130-something when it happened, he had been named something else at this time. Nevertheless, Spencer can't remember his childhood at all, except for a few journals he had written stuff down in when he was a child and still has them today - just locked away since he doesn't want to remember. If he doesn't remember, should he ever dare to?

So instead, Spencer's story begins after he was turned. As a vampire he met his parents and was introduced to them once more, his mother, Alda was a beautiful blonde whom Ignacio, his father had fallen for when she was just a young child and he, frozen in time, waited for her to get older. They lived in Sicily, which was where Spencer had been "born again." This time in Italy, the Crusades were going on, and Ignacio wanted to keep his son out of them, so when he turned his son, this enabled him to run away from being recruited if possible. Ignacio also had a run-in with another coven, a large family of Italian vampires - it could be compared to the mafia, since they turned people for them to join them in the afterlife as they claimed it. Spencer remained hidden though with his mother, trusting her enough as he discovered he could go quite some hours without needing to feed, though sometimes the urge became so great Alda would rush out and find the nearest person, telling them, begging them to help her son. Meanwhile Spencer remained in the house, attempting to fight these urges, since his father had disappeared to go help in the Crusades in another country. Horribly angered at his father, Spencer loathed him when he came home, but while this happened, Alda brought in random people sometimes, and Spencer attacked them. He would drain them of their blood, and he could go another day or two without needing to feed if he drained a whole human. He was outraged at what he had become, and therefore he soon left his parents in Sicily and headed to Rome, a larger city where he could get away with stuff if he needed.

Upon arriving in Rome, he then discovered this wasn't the place for him, it just didn't speak to him like his hometown did, and people kept speaking of all these disappearances. Figuring it was a vampire, Spence wandered around where the disappearances were said to have happened, and discovered the coven who was responsible for the attacks. The same coven that hunted down his family because of their strong ties to power, wanting to take those ties for their own family. The coven noticed this new blonde vampire, and told him, "You will die before the turn of this century, Navarra name carrier." Needless to say, Spencer fought. He fought with everything he had, and did manage to kill three vampires in one hit, before he then moved away to London, England. This was paradise. Here, with the dirt and such in the streets, people got sick all the time. Therefore, Spencer, needing to live, acted as a priest, he could go to people's homes with welcoming arms, and upon their last breath in a solitary room, he would take their blood, after having "sent them to heaven." After he'd killed them though, wanting the fresh, warm blood, he would drain their blood, and then cover up the teeth marks with their clothing, and clean himself up before he allowed the family to see him. This went on for a few decades, with him then later on posing as his own son in order to avoid people's thoughts and questions.

Spencer one day was heading back to his own place when his mother, of all people stumbled up to him. Horrified, Spencer caught her, and took her to the side, where Alda told him. They were being hunted, their family. Ignacio was still in Italy, he was fine because he said he would join when he found his son - Spencer. But Alda had lost most of her family, and that's when he realized she wasn't alone, someone had brought her here. Growling and wanting to protect his mother, Spencer found the vampire who had dragged her here to London, and had proceeded to wound her - most likely mortally as well. Clutching her side, Spencer held his breath and murdered the vampire, before turning to his mother, asking her, begging her to let him change her. She cupped his cheek, smiling weakly in the side street - thankfully no one around as his eyes darkened, she shook her head, smiling weakly to her son, "No. I do not want you to change me. I want to die, my dear son. I do not want to fight anymore. I love you." With that, Spencer's mother died in his arms, and he swore vengence to the entire coven who had dared to hunt down his family and kill his mother. Needless to say, he did. Spencer spent the next 200 years hunting them down and killing them off. Today, he isn't sure what happened to the last few, but they're probably like him, just wanting to survive in this world. He's letting them - until he finds one of them, then he will go on his killing spree once more.

Spencer remained in London for quite some time, and the big boom of when people could move to this new place, this place called America in the late 1400s, he had to go see for himself. But when? By now, Spencer had found a young woman, one whom he didn't want to leave because she didn't want to go away from London, but stay here. Hesitating, Spencer decided to stay, knowing with the Plague lingering around, even after all these years, he still worried for her. Charlotte was her name. Charlotte and Spencer were married when she was about 19 and him appearing to be in his early twenties. That's when she would speak to him about having a child with him, saying so that they could carry on his name, Navarra forever. Spencer was reluctant, what would his child be, a vampire like him? Most likely yes. After much begging and bargaining and asking, Spencer finally gave in to Charlotte's request about having a child. They did. They had a son they named James Ignacio Navarra, giving him his grandfather's first name as his middle name. And Spencer loved his son. James was half of what he was, unless Spencer decided to turn him full vampire later on, but either way, James would become immortal once he hit a certain age. Spencer remained with James and Charlotte and taught James everything he knew and in 1504, that's when Charlotte told him she was pregnant - again. By this time James was 5, and Spencer being quite older - or so he appeared, that's when Charlotte noticed how James preferred to eat rare steaks instead of just....human food, and how Spencer hadn't changed a bit over the past 8 years they had been together, while she had.

Worried, Spencer then confessed to her what he was. Horrified, Charlotte, and one he had loved, told him she was leaving him and taking James with her. That Spencer didn't want to happen. He adored his son, and James didn't want to go with his mother, he wanted to stay with his father. Spencer told her he'd fight for his son, but that day never really came, because the coven that wanted to kill off the Navarra clan, had found pretty much - it's last member, Spencer. They attacked his house when he had been working, and slaughtered his wife Charlotte and his son, James. Spencer came home to see his house ravaged, and it looked like a burglary gone wrong, until he smelled blood and saw the marks on his wife's and son's necks. They had even gone as far as to break James's neck, because he was half-vampire. Appalled and shattered, Spencer hunted these last two vampires down. When he found them, he killed them...slowly. Having been involved in some wars, Spencer knew how to torture people. He tortured them and starved them, before he finally killed them, giving them what he thought they deserved.

Spencer in 1557 moved to America and remained here, making a living here for himself with the crops and such, working hard before he got his own place. He never used slaves in the fields. Instead he employed white people in the fields and he did get slaves, but he allowed them to work for their freedom if they pleased. Whether or not all this happened, Spencer refused to let himself fall for another woman. He hated the idea of hurting someone then possibly losing them again. Though decades past and he never dealt with that clan/coven again, and in 1643, Spencer married to a mixed girl, half-English and half-slave, who appeared mostly white. Her name was Elizabeth, and personally, Spencer couldn't be happier. They never had children, since Elizabeth couldn't have them, and Spencer was just fine with that. They lived happily together, and Elizabeth found out Spencer's secret as she aged, and she asked him to change her. That was something he didn't want to do, because she had cheated on him. Yes, Elizabeth, when they were engaged, slept with another man, and for that, Spencer had never forgiven her, but it was also their dirty secret too, since appearances were important in those days. Elizabeth died when she was in her forties, with Spencer right by her side, supporting her till the end. He never touched her blood, knowing she wasn't his soulmate also reassured him. Hell, he was beginning not to believe in love...just lust.

Spencer moved back to England for some time, regaining back one of the many accents he loved so much, learning some dialects once more, having learned Mandarin, English, Italian and French by this time, he started working on Cantonese and Vietnamese as well. He has since then graduated from college about 8 times, three of them with a Ph.D. in something, and hasn't attended high school - ever. So he doesn't know what that's like either. Now, he works as a hospital person, a resident actually, training to become a doctor, since he needs to renew his talents with that and such, since he hasn't been one since the mid-1700s, and medicine and technology has advanced so much. Spencer isn't sure how he feels about the love aspect of eternal life, though he is partially looking, he's just looking for the one. And this war, it isn't his war, so he just keeps his nose out of it.
