OVERALL
Alex is a fun loving girl. She enjoys a good laugh and doesn’t take life too seriously. Even with the war going on, she tries to live in an ignorant bliss, while still being realistic. It’s the little things that make life good. She watches over her charge, knowing that something bad could happen to them with the war going on, but she doesn’t feel like it could be something she couldn’t handle. When it comes to her friends, she would do anything from them, even put aside her carefree ways. During her life, Alex had a few close friends and loved to talk to anyone who would spare a moment. Now that she’s dead and an angel, not much has changed other than she doesn’t have many friends anymore.
When Alex gets angry, she doesn’t become violent or loud. She quiets down and gets extremely still. That was how her old friends knew something was wrong – Alex wasn’t talking. Sometimes she also gets quiet when she’s sets her mind to something. She doesn’t give up easily. As a guardian angel, she’ll do anything to keep her charge and, yeah, her old family and friends safe. Alex is a new angel so sometimes she jumps ahead of the gun and reacts to even innocent situations sometimes. And even though they’re small or not even a problem at all, she still reacts like she saved the entire world. Mostly she wants to keep herself and her charge happy.

OVERALL
Alex’s parents were high school sweethearts from a tiny town in the middle of no where. Maria always wanted a big family and many daughters to pamper. When they had their first child, they had a son. While Maria wanted a daughter, she was still overjoyed to have a bouncing baby boy in her life. They kept trying, though. And finally, four boys later, Alexandra came along. Finally, having a little girl, Maria constantly spoiled her and tried to make her the poster child of a pretty pink princess. As soon as she was old enough, Alex dug her heels in and refused to wear anything with even the slightest hint of pink on it and spent her time trying to keep up with her brothers.
When Alex was fifteen, her parents got nice job offers in another state. No matter how much she begged and pleaded and cried, she was outnumbered six to one. So angry and sniffling, she was dragged across the country to a completely new and different place. Luckily, she didn’t stay down for long and met some amazing friends and had a blast at her new high school. However, when time for college rolled around, she found herself missing the old small town feel. So after a slightly more diplomatic and reasonable conversation, Alex managed to convince her parents to let her go back for college.
As soon as she got there, she realized it was just like riding a bike. She felt completely at home and safe even though she was on her own. However, one night at the end of her first semester, she stopped paying attention. She was out at a party when she decided to walk home alone. Alex knew it was dangerous but she didn’t think anything bad could happen to her. Unfortunately, she never made it back to her dorm. Little did she know, a man was waiting for some poor unsuspecting girl wandering by to grab and Alex was just that girl. When she woke up, she was dead and in Heaven. She thought that angels were always suppose to be happy but she was pretty angry and miserable. It wasn’t until she was sent back down to earth to be a guardian that she started to cheer back up.

RP SAMPLE
Alex stood on the edge of the sidewalk and stared across the street, praying that the little white man would soon flash across the Do Not Cross screen. She was glad she had remembered to grab a jacket before she left that morning. Although, she thought with a wiry grin, it wasn’t doing much help. Not only was it two sizes too big, but it hardly did anything to keep the rain out anymore. She was soaked through to the bone. The rain pounded down in sheets and gave the city a foggy, eerie look. It wasn’t deserted but there were much fewer people out, making her feel like she was one of the few people left that was brave enough to go out in the storm. Just as she thought that, a car flashed by through a puddle. Alex tried to turn and jump away to avoid the wave of water that was thrown at her but she was still hit full force.
Sputtering, Alex wiped her face of the dirty water and tried not to think of all the city germs she just swallowed. “Thanks, jerkwad!” she shouted over the rain. She knew they couldn’t hear her and part of it was her fault for standing on the edge of the sidewalk but it made her feel better to put the blame on them. When she looked back up at the crossing sign, she was relieved to see it was giving her the sign to cross. Not even looking both ways, Alex leapt into the street and took off to the coffee shop. She pushed the door open and staggered into the cozy little store. She almost felt the need to dramatically announce her arrival, to let everyone know that she had survived the storm. Instead she shook the water off her hands the best she could and walked up to the counter. “Hi,” she said cheerfully, making sure to smile and look at the barista. She knew how rough it could be to work in a heavy trafficked business. There were some rude people out there. “Anything warm. Hmmm… Caramel cappuccino sounds good, please.”
